Job Summary

The primary role of the ESL tutor is to help the instructors assist students with their assigned work (math, science, social studies, reading and writing) to help them prepare to better their English Speaking skills. Also help organize classroom, prepare materials and other duties as assigned.

Examples of Duties

• Help the instructor with the delivery of lessons

• Help designing and producing teaching materials

• Help assess student learning

• Provide ongoing retention support in and out of the classroom

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school certificate or High School Equivalency (HiSET, GED)

• Experience working with migrant or seasonal farmworkers

• Experience with underserve communities

Your accrual rate increases as your years of service increase.
