Essential Duties

Under the guidance of the center's Children's Waiting Room Specialist, interns coordinates the activities of the children in the Children's Waiting Room for the Superior Court of California, County of Ventura. interns duties may include supervising children of parents/guardians who are conducting business with the Court, children who are witnesses for court proceedings, and children attending Family Law Mediation, serving as liaison between the court and other public and private agencies that deal with the Children's Waiting Room, and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Internship must be in conjunction with a program or class that requires certification or completion of the degree or a class.

Current CPR certification (in person, and not online) and TB test result.

Passing of a criminal background check (livescan).
