Job Responsibilities

TTC Continuing Education is Growing Fast and Needs More Instructors! If you're an experienced professional with a passion for sharing your knowledge with others, consider joining TTC's Continuing Education. Instructors needed to teach varying class schedules for day and evening classes at the Berkeley Campus.

The Manufacturing, Industrial and Construction Trades Continuing Education and Economic Development is seeking to fill immediate part-time contract Welding Instructors.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a minimum of five (5) years current welding experience and must pass certification tests in each welding process taught.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching/training experience and an associate degree in a related area is preferred. Instructors are needed to teach entry-level through advanced classes in shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux cored arc, and oxyacetylene/plasma arc/carbon arc cutting processes as well as related courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing, and codes. Excellent customer service skills are required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience at an hourly rate of $25 - $27.50.  These positions are open until filled.
