Position Information

Supervises and participates in the work of an engineering unit concerned with a specialized phase of the overall traffic engineering program; and performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in civil engineering or a related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
One year of registered professional engineering experience, including or supplemented by one year of experience in traffic engineering activities.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
1) Current State of Hawaii registration as a professional engineer.

Applicants with an out-of-state license in Engineering must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment. 2) Valid Hawaii State driver's license (Type 3) prior to appointment.
